every Saturday morning ada Saturday Market in Galway city centre...went there just to have a glimpse of a mat salleh's market ..siap ade street performer tuh..lepas dah habis intai all the stalls, we all went shopping..yeay... byk duit ditabur2 ke kedai2 di situ  ...

~ Cliffs of Moher
|

Cliffs of Moher - a must for tourists in Ireland....
we went up to the highland in Liscannor to the Cliffs of Moher...above the Atlantic Ocean...tp agak kecewa sbb area cliff nih dah dibangunkan..no more access to the greenery area at the very hujung2 of the cliff...tak bleh nak piknik2 kat atas rumput tepi cliff tu...anyway, the journey to reach the cliff & the cliff itself tak mengecewakan....journey is along the countryside of Ireland....passing by byk ladang2 with all the biri2 gemuk, dairy cows, cottages .....thus, worth the time spent....
on the way back, singgah tepi laut...tp sbb lapa & takkose nak punggah2 ke tepi laut...kitorg piknik dlm kete jer

akhirnya sampai jua ke destinasi yg sepatutnya --> rumah Alang di Corrib Park, Galway...
from Belfast, 5 hours drive baru sampai Galway (patutnye 3 hours je if we were from Dublin) ..reached there very very early in the morning - 2 am - ...mmg penat n ngantuk tak ingatnye..luckily it's summer, so the whole journey takde la dlm gelap mlm cos it only gets dark around 12...kul 10-11 pm tu masih bercahaya lagi langit...
(mmg pendek sgt mlm nye...just imagine, maghrib at 10 pm, isyak at 12am, subuh at 3am ..5 pagi hari sudah cerah )...ngantuk oo nak bgn subuh tuh...
1st day tu sbb penat, ptg je baru kuar rumah..went to Galway Bay..konon nak tgk sunset ..tp tak nampak pon matahari nye ...

From Dublin, we went north to Belfast, Northern Ireland (2 hours drive from Dublin)...rupanye Northern Ireland ni bkn Ireland, tp UK..Belfast tak termasuk dlm original holiday plan..tp Alang insist of going there sbb katenye rugi je kalo tak pergi...
the main attraction in Belfast is the Giant's Causeway...kat sini batu2 nye unik terhasil drpd volcanic eruptions & cooling lava (if i'm not mistaken)...the stones are mostly in hexagonal shape...mmg kagum tgk the whole area...with the unique Allah's creation & the beautiful scenery..
kitorg siap duduk mkn2 kat situ..lapar nye pasal ...
on our way back, singgah jap Junction One ..branded stuffs with a very discounted price are sold here..
oo lupe plak..kat situ, kitorg dok kat umah ex-student Msia, now working as a doctor there (Dr Jaz, wife (Neri) & daughter (Najwa))...
Jaz, Neri... thanks for everything including all the delicious food cooked

only on the 3rd day kat Dublin baru nampak matahari...hari cerah panas but still windy..no wonder mat salleh suke sgt berjemur, cuace sejuk though it seems hot...
ari ni last day in Dublin as we're heading to Belfast today ...and since the weather sgt best, we went strolling around the park depan rumah lepas dah siap packing up our things...ramai betul mat salleh berpiknik di tgh2 panas tuh...unlike asians (kitorg la tuh ), they purposely sat straight under the sun...kitorg ni plak mencarik spot utk duduk bawah pokok yg redup2 ...sungguh tak seswaiii..tak menikmati the summer sun

weather still sejuk,..still a bit of hujan renyai2...oo hari ni suami memakai hooded sweater kerana semalam telinga kesejukan ...
planned to go piknik di park..tp sbb hujan, park basah..kitorg ronda Dublin castle & trinity college jer...then pusing2 city centre for a lil bit of shopping..
around 7 pm..went for dinner at Amirah's house..student Msia ni sronok melayan kite2 yg dtg visit Dublin nih...around 930 pm, walk back home, sronok je jln2 dlm cuaca sejuk & hari yg masih cerah & perut yg sudah kenyang

from LHR, we took another flight to Dublin..sampai around 9.30pm..hujan renyai2 & amat la sejuk nye cuaca ..sampai je umah kawan Alang kat Rathmines..mmg flat gile..tertido trus ..saye & suami bgn mkn mlm jam 4 pagi ..mak angah sume dah siap mkn b4 dorg tido...after mkn..sambung balik tido ..seriyes penat tak ingat nye..
cuaca dari pagi hujan renyai2...dah ptg dlm jam 5 lebih hujan cam dah reda, baru la kitorg kuar ronda2 Dublin city centre..sejuk ok..mmg tak bleh thnnye kalo tak pakai long coat...long coat siap pakai hood baru tak trase sejuk..bukak hood, cam ais je rase angin menyapa pipi ...tour guide kitorg/kawan Alang, Amirah (budak Trinity) mmg releks je sbb dah lame dok Dublin, dah immune ngan cuaca sejuk tuh..
sufiya plak tido jer..masih jet lag kot plus the cold weather yg mmg sedap gile utk tido ...x mcm summer pon rasenye sbb cuaca sejuk gile tapi siang mmg panjang...kitorg berjln2 sampai jam 8 mlm lebih ..langit masih cerah ...tp sbb dah penat & kedai pon byk dah tutup, balik je la

Alhamdulillah...selamat dah kitorg sampai London after a 13 hours flight..bertolak from KLIA @ 11.40 pm...touch down LHR @ 5.30 am..very early in the morning tapi hari dah terang seterang2nye...sejukkkkk....after dah check out bag sume, try gi tanye flight to DUB whether we can get an earlier flight...bole je nak tukar tp each has to pay extra 100pound...huhuh..tape la...timekasih jer la ...
since flight to DUB lambat lagik..kitorg pon ape lagik...berkobar2 nak tgk kota London..penat sume tolak tepi..took the Heathrow Express straight to Paddington station (cepat gile..15 min je dah sampai central London)...from there, took our own sweet time walking leisurely to Hyde Park...sampai sane, bukak sume food yg ade..berpiknik di situ..mkn je ape yg ade sbb sume dah kelaparan ..(seb baik MAS mmg byk kali kasik mkn..byk je yg kitorg bungkus masuk beg sbb tak larat nk telan dah kat atas kapal tuh )...bile dah kenyang, tenaga kembali ade...kitorg pon redah la Hyde Park tuh sampai ke Harrods...ermm biase jer la bangunan tu..tade ape spesel pon rasenye..
after dah penat strolling around, we took the tube to the Central Mosque..solat & rehat ...n then off we went back to Heathrow utk ke destinasi seterusnya...Dublin, Ireland....going to meet Alang there..
